No Water, Then War: Bilawal Bhutto Issues Fresh Warning

Pakistan continues to issue war warnings. After Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir, now the country’s political leader Bilawal Bhutto has once again sounded an alert. Bhutto declared that if India stops the flow of Indus waters, Pakistan will have no option but to go to war. He alleged that India has already caused severe damage to Pakistan and urged all Pakistanis to unite and fight against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Speaking at a programme in Sindh, the former Foreign Minister said that the actions of the Modi-led Indian government have harmed Pakistan and that the people must stand together in opposition. Inciting Pakistani citizens, Bhutto claimed that Pakistanis are strong enough to reclaim the waters of the six rivers. If India continues with its current stance, he said, there will be no other path left — war will be the only means to protect national interests.

Bhutto stressed that Pakistan is not initiating any war, but if India attempts an attack similar to Sindur, people from every province of Pakistan will be ready to fight. He warned that in such a war, India would be defeated and that Pakistan would not back down.
