In a powerful show of force, the Israeli military has released footage of a massive aerial assault on Iran, following Tehran's retaliatory drone attack on Israel. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), around 200 Israeli Air Force (IAF) fighter jets participated in the operation, dropping approximately 330 bombs on nearly 100 targeted locations across Iran.
The strikes, which took place early Friday morning, focused on Iran’s nuclear facilities, senior military officials, and nuclear scientists. Israel claims the operation was a success and accused Iran of actively developing nuclear weapons.
The IDF stated that the attack was launched in response to Iran's earlier offensive involving nearly 100 drones. Israel says it was prepared to counter the drone strike and acted swiftly to prevent further escalation.
Video footage released by the IDF shows several Israeli fighter jets mid-operation, showcasing the scale and precision of the airstrikes. Israel emphasized that the Iranian drones would have taken several hours to reach Israeli airspace, giving them time to respond and retaliate strategically.
