American YouTuber MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson now holds the highest number of subscribers on YouTube by surpassing the Bollywood music channel T-Series. 

MrBeast announced on X that he has 266,707,995 subscribers slightly edging out T-Series which has 266,706,387 subscribers. 

Previously, T-Series surpassed Swedish YouTuber PewDiePie, also known as Felix Kjellberg, by reaching over 100 million subscribers. 

MrBeast celebrated the milestone by posting, "After 6 years we have finally avenged PewDiePie".
