Vijay Sethupathi decided not to work with Pandiraj again

Vijay Sethupathi, widely known in Kollywood for being controversy-free, surprisingly had a fallout with someone in his life. But true to his nature, he decided not to hold onto the bitterness and took the first step toward making peace.

The rift was with National Award-winning director Pandiraj. The two had creative disagreements in the past, which gradually escalated. Eventually, things got so tense that Pandiraj reportedly decided never to work with Vijay Sethupathi again.

However, fate had other plans. A few years later, director Mysskin hosted a birthday party and invited many industry friends, including both Pandiraj and Vijay Sethupathi. Spotting Vijay at the gathering, Pandiraj found himself in a dilemma—should he greet him or keep his distance? He chose to stay away.

But during the cake-cutting ceremony, Pandiraj suddenly felt a friendly hand on his shoulder. Turning around, he was surprised to see Vijay Sethupathi, who warmly hugged him from behind. The gesture left Pandiraj momentarily stunned.

Letting bygones be bygones, Vijay Sethupathi immediately suggested they work on a film together. Pandiraj later revealed this story and confirmed that the two had reconciled.

Now, the duo has collaborated on a film titled “Thalaivar-Thalaivi” (Leader & Lady Leader) in Tamil. The Telugu version is named “Saar-Madam.” The movie is set to release in the next 10 days.
