Rahul Slams EC Deletion of Dalit and Adivasi Votes

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on the Election Commission, alleging large-scale voter fraud and targeted deletion of votes belonging to Dalits and Adivasis.

Addressing a press conference, Gandhi claimed that lakhs of votes were deliberately removed from the electoral rolls. “Even in Karnataka, votes were deleted. In the recent elections, as many as 6,800 votes were struck off,” he said.

He further alleged that all linked mobile numbers were fake and that the party has “concrete evidence” of the irregularities. “Fake logins were used to delete votes, and this has been systematically carried out in areas where the Congress is strong,” he added.

Accusing the Election Commission of siding with those “murdering democracy,” Gandhi said the electoral system had been “hijacked.”

“The Election Commission is protecting those who are destroying democracy. This is not just a fraud on voters but an attack on the very foundation of democratic rights,” he asserted.
