IAS officer Avi Prasad, belonging to the Madhya Pradesh cadre, has once again made headlines with his third marriage.
Initially, he married fellow IAS officer Riju Bafna. After separating from her, he married another IAS officer, Misha Singh. Four years later, he divorced her as well. Now, for the third time, he has once again married an IAS officer.
On the 11th of this month, he married 2017-batch IAS officer Ankita Dhakre.
Avi Prasad hails from Sitapur district in Uttar Pradesh. He comes from a politically influential family. His grandfather, Tambeshwar Prasad alias Bachcha Babu, had previously served as a Union Minister.
Avi Prasad was selected for the IPS in 2013 and was inducted into the IAS the following year.
