RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has expelled his elder son, Tej Pratap Yadav, from both the Rashtriya Janata Dal and the family, citing “irresponsible behaviour.”
The decision came after Tej Pratap shared a photo with a woman, calling her his girlfriend of 12 years. He later deleted the post, claiming his account had been hacked and the image edited.
Lalu Yadav posted a strong public statement, saying Tej Pratap’s actions had crossed moral boundaries and harmed the party’s image. He stated that such behaviour goes against the values and discipline the family and RJD stand for. As a result, Tej Pratap has been removed from all party roles and family responsibilities.
Lalu added that Tej Pratap is free to live his personal life, but the consequences of his actions are his own.
