A Telugu woman was found brutally murdered in the United States, sending shockwaves through the Indian community. Nikitha Rao Godishala (27) was found dead under suspicious circumstances at the residence of her former boyfriend, Arjun Sharma, in Ellicott City, Howard County.
According to reports, Arjun Sharma filed a missing person complaint with the police on January 2, stating that Nikitha was untraceable. Soon after lodging the complaint, he reportedly traveled to India.
On January 3, police conducted a search at the apartment where Arjun Sharma was staying. During the search, officers discovered Nikitha’s body bearing multiple stab wounds.
Based on preliminary investigation, police suspect that Arjun Sharma murdered Nikitha and fled the country. Authorities have intensified efforts to trace and apprehend the accused, and further investigation is underway.
