In a shocking case of road rage in Bengaluru, businessman Jayant Shekar had to undergo surgery costing around Rs 2 lakh after a man bit his finger during an argument. The fight started after rainwater accidentally splashed onto another car while Shekar was driving near the Lulu Mall underpass around 9 pm.
Shekar was returning home with his wife and mother-in-law when the other car, a Hyundai i20, pulled up beside his vehicle. The female passenger shouted at him, and the male driver demanded he stop. Despite the rain, Shekar stayed inside, but the couple blocked his car and began verbally abusing him.
The confrontation escalated when the man grabbed Shekar’s hand and bit his ring finger, causing a severe injury that later required surgery. Shekar’s wife has filed a police complaint, but the accused has not yet been arrested. Police are still investigating the incident.
