Union Home Minister Amit Shah slammed Farooq Abdullah's comments on POK.
He spoke out by stressing that the BJP government is determined to reclaim POK and a populous nuclear power like India will not bend for any threats.
Amit Shah also demanded Rahul Gandhi to clarify his party's stance on Abdullah's remarks.
He affirmed that PoK belongs to India with no doubt and rejected any idea of surrendering it to Pakistan. Shah reassured BJP's commitment to reclaiming PoK.
Farooq Abdullah had suggested that India should not press for PoK's return citing Pakistan's nuclear capability.
In response, Shah questioned why India with its large population and nuclear strength should fear Pakistan. He stressed that PoK is an integral part of India and the BJP is resolute in reclaiming it.
Talking about the merger of PoK with India, Shah continued to say that the decisions will be made considering the country's and the world's circumstances but reaffirmed the government's objective.
He also addressed protests in PoK by asserting India's claim over the region and concerning issues there to Pakistan's wrong management.
