Mohanlal’s Thudarum continues its impressive box office run, collecting Rs 71 crore in India within 10 days since its release on April 25. The crime drama maintained strong momentum in its second weekend, earning Rs 19.6 crore from Friday to Sunday (May 4). With Rs 51 crore in its first week, the film has shown consistent growth, including Rs 8 crore on its 10th day.
Thudarum has crossed Rs 150 crore globally, becoming the 4th highest-grossing Malayalam film worldwide, behind Empuraan, Manjummel Boys, and 2018. It has earned over Rs 66 crore in Kerala alone, setting a new record with 10 consecutive days of Rs 5 crore-plus collections—surpassing Empuraan, which had 7 such days.
This is Mohanlal’s second commercial hit of the year, and Thudarum is now poised to climb higher, possibly becoming the second or third highest-grossing Malayalam film worldwide.
