It’s well-known that Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR have performed a song together in War 2. The full song hasn’t been released on YouTube — only a 30-second teaser was shared, with fans being told they’d have to watch the complete version in theaters.
However, even this short clip stirred up a storm on social media. Some NTR fans claimed he outshone Hrithik, while Hrithik’s fans in the north countered these claims.
Addressing the matter at the War 2 pre-release event, NTR clarified that there was no dance competition between the two in the song, and debates over who performed better were unnecessary.
“There is no competition between us in that song. Discussions about who did it better are pointless. When you watch the song in the film, don’t look for a winner or loser. Social media is getting it wrong — I’m telling you the truth now. This isn’t a song where two dancers compete; it’s a celebration where both dancers appreciate each other.”
NTR went on to praise Hrithik Roshan, calling him the greatest dancer in the country and saying it was his privilege to share the stage with him.
He revealed that he worked with Hrithik for 75 days on War 2. NTR also promised that the film would not feel like “just another Hindi movie” but would have the vibe of a proper Telugu film. He teased that there would be many twists in the story and urged audiences not to reveal them after watching.
