Recently during a discussion at a major Urdu festival, Shah expressed his views on the quality of Bollywood films compared to international cinema.
He remarked that Korean films are much superior to Indian ones by criticizing the lack of substance in Bollywood love stories.
He also compared Indian cinema to Indian food, stating that while Indian food has flavor but Bollywood lacks depth.
Naseeruddin Shah implies that Indian cinema needs to evolve beyond its current standards.
Despite his criticism Shah continues to captivate audiences with his exceptional talent.
On the work front he was seen recently in was in the film 'Kuttey' directed by Aasmaan Bhardwaj and featuring Tabu, Arjun Kapoor, Radhika Madan, Konkona Sen Sharma and Kumud Mishra.
