Success in cinema has many meanings. Each person has their own perspective. Sometimes, even a flop film can be considered a success in the eyes of its hero—it all depends on their point of view. So, what does Mrunal Thakur consider as success?
"For me, it doesn’t matter how much a film collects or what its budget is. What matters is whether I delivered my best performance in that film. That alone counts as success for me."
Mrunal says that if she acts well in a film, even if the movie fails, it is still a success in her eyes. If success is only measured in terms of money, she believes it will keep changing, but true success should be seen from the heart.
For her, continuing her career without anyone pointing out that she performed poorly in a film itself is the biggest success. "If the audience ever feels ‘we just can’t tolerate this anymore,’ then that means I have failed there," she adds.
