Engagement in October… Wedding in January

It’s already known that Nivetha Pethuraj revealed her love life. She introduced her boyfriend, Rajith Ibraham, to everyone and confirmed that she is in love with him. Now, this beauty has brought along wedding news as well.

Nivetha, who had earlier revealed that she was dating Rajith, announced that their engagement would be in October, and they would tie the knot in January next year. So, where did Rajith Ibraham and Nivetha meet? Everyone knows Nivetha has a passion for racing. She even took training on a race track. It was during that training in Dubai that Rajith Ibraham and Nivetha met.

“We’ve been friends for five years now. We grew close over time. Recently, we discussed why not share our lives together. Our families and friends are also common between us. So, we mentally prepared ourselves to share our lives. Believing that our bond will stand the test of time, we made this decision.”

After deciding to get married, Nivetha says they only told a few people in their close circle and no one in the film industry knew about it. Even her manager was surprised after hearing the news.

Nivetha says that films are not her life — just a part of it. She says she doesn’t act for money, that at one point she even thought about stepping away from films, but Rajith encouraged her, which is why she continued. She adds that if good roles come her way, she will continue her career even after marriage.
