While they were dating, once Ranveer took Deepika to the Maldives. Deepika only knew that they were flying from India and landing in the Maldives. After that, everything else was Ranveer Singh’s plan.
From the Maldives, Ranveer flew her by helicopter to a smaller island — a completely secluded one, with no one around. On that island, under a beautiful night sky, Ranveer proposed to Deepika. Since their hearts were already aligned, Deepika immediately said “Yes” without any hesitation.
Ranveer said that he had planned everything carefully to propose to his beloved, that he worked hard to win a place in Deepika’s heart, and then worked equally hard to win over Deepika’s mother. After dating for nearly four years, Deepika and Ranveer finally got married in Italy in 2018.
