Amit Shah On Cancelling Muslim Quota

The election campaign is in full swing in Telangana as the poll date is falling on May 13.

The campaign has to be concluded two days prior to that and so every leader is making strong statements to attract the voters polarized by their parties.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that if the BJP wins 10 MP seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Telangana they would cancel reservations for Muslims and allocate them to SCs, STs, and OBCs. He criticized the Congress for providing reservations to Muslims alleging injustice to SCs, STs, and OBCs.

Shah highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's firm approach towards terrorism and extremism by mentioning actions like abrogating Article 370 in Kashmir and completing the construction of the Sri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

He accused the Congress of ignoring promises made to the people such as waiving Rs. 2 lakh loans for farmers in Telangana.

Shah questioned the fulfillment of Rahul Gandhi's promise regarding loan waivers for Telangana farmers. He emphasized that if the BJP secures double-digit seats in Telangana by achieving their goal of 400 MP seats nationwide would be easier.

Shah framed the upcoming elections as a choice between the country's development and the interests of a particular family.
