After Elections: No More 4 Wives And 25 Children?

Rajasthan's Education Minister, Madan Dilawar, asserted the inevitable implementation of a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in India, opposing the practice of polygamy and misuse of government benefits.

He criticized the Congress as the most corrupt party globally and pledged the UCC's enactment post-election.

“After this election, the UCC will be implemented in the country…the day is not far when it will not be possible for a man to marry four women and beget 25 children, and avail the benefits of government schemes claiming to be from the minority community,” the state education minister expressed.

It is needless to say that this is a direct reference to the lives and practices of some Muslims in India.

Dilawar also accused the Congress of swallowing around Rs 25 lakh crore annually during its previous central government tenure.

He even highlighted the dramatic increase in tax collection under the GST regime of BJP led government, questioning the whereabouts of the substantial sum unaccounted for during the Congress era.

Dilawar also alleged corruption in the Rajasthan Congress implicating former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Govind Singh Dotasara in a paper leak scandal.

He predicted their imprisonment asserting forthcoming accountability for higher-ranking officials involved.
