Tollywood’s young star Akhil Akkineni has bid farewell to bachelorhood and stepped into marital life. In the early hours of today, he tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Zainab Ravdjee in a traditional ceremony. The wedding was attended by several celebrities from the film industry, and photos and videos from the ceremony have gone viral on social media.

Zainab looked stunning in a pastel ivory saree paired with diamond jewellery, while Akhil embraced his Telugu roots by wearing a white kurta and dhoti. The couple had gotten engaged last year in a grand ceremony held at Nagarjuna’s residence in Hyderabad, attended by close family and friends. Now, the two have officially become husband and wife.

Akhil, the son of veteran actor Nagarjuna, needs no introduction. During his engagement, Zainab Ravdjee's name sparked wide discussions across social media. Reports suggested that her father is a businessman with operations in Dubai and other Arab countries, and that he is a close associate of Andhra Pradesh CM Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy—claims that gained traction at the time.

Zainab is a recognized artist, lifestyle blogger, and bespoke perfumer. She currently runs her own art gallery and is known to have participated in several exhibitions in Hyderabad. It is also reported that Nagarjuna and Amala personally invited chief ministers of both Telugu states, along with other prominent political and film personalities, to Akhil’s wedding.
