Sardaar Ji 3 Release Overseas, not in India.

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) is set to take strong action against Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh and the producers of his upcoming film Sardaar Ji 3 for casting Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in the lead role.

According to FWICE President B.N. Tiwari, the organization plans to issue an official directive banning Dosanjh and the film's producers from working within the Indian film industry. The move comes in response to Aamir’s alleged anti-India remarks following Operation Sindoor, a recent Indian military operation that has drawn international attention.

"We strongly oppose any collaboration with Pakistani artists, especially when they openly speak against our nation," Tiwari told India Today. "We will not allow anyone who works with such individuals to operate freely in India."

While Sardaar Ji 3 is not scheduled for a theatrical release in India and is instead targeting overseas markets, the controversy surrounding its casting has stirred backlash within the Indian entertainment community.

FWICE, a powerful film workers’ union that represents over 500,000 technicians and workers across India, has historically taken a firm stance against cross-border collaborations involving Pakistani nationals, especially in light of political and military tensions.

As of now, neither Diljit Dosanjh nor the producers of Sardaar Ji 3 have issued an official statement regarding the proposed ban or Aamir’s comments.

This development may further complicate Indo-Pak cultural collaborations and reignite debate over the inclusion of foreign talent in Indian cinema amidst heightened nationalist sentiment.
