Rashmika Mandanna, the Kannada beauty who has made a significant mark not only in the South but also in Bollywood, is currently working on the historical film *Chhava*. After winning hearts with her performances in *Pushpa* and *Animal*, she has garnered a massive following in the Hindi belt.
In *Chhava*, Rashmika stars alongside Vicky Kaushal in a story that chronicles the life of Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji, focusing on his epic battles against the Mughals.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, *Chhava* is being made on a grand scale. According to recent updates, a massive song sequence featuring 700 dancers is set to be filmed. The song will mark the coronation of Sambhaji Maharaj, and A.R. Rahman is composing the music with special attention to 16th-century Marathi folk tunes, using traditional instruments from that era.
The song will be shot at the iconic Raigad Fort in Maharashtra, featuring over 1000 junior artists. Director Laxman Utekar stated that the dance sequences, particularly those featuring Rashmika Mandanna, will be a major highlight of the film. Based on Shivaji Sawant's novel *Chhava*, the film is expected to release on December 6.
