Priests Angry at Item Girl

Priests Angry at Item Girl

She's less of a heroine and more of an item girl—hence, many refer to her as an "item heroine." Known for her overacting, Urvashi Rautela has a reputation for being glamorous but not particularly sharp, at least according to public perception.

Recently, she stirred controversy once again with a bizarre statement. Urvashi claimed that two temples have been built in her honor in North India, and even stated that the Bamni temple near Badrinath in Uttarakhand belongs to her. She went as far as to demand that temples be built for her in the South as well.

While there's nothing wrong with praising oneself, falsely claiming an existing temple is crossing a line. The priests of the Bamni temple were outraged by her remarks. They expressed their disappointment, saying it was disrespectful to associate her name with such a sacred place, and requested the Uttarakhand government to take immediate action against her.

This isn’t the first time she’s made odd or attention-seeking statements. When Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a knife, and a reporter asked for her reaction, she bizarrely flaunted her ring instead. Just recently, she tried to downplay Tamannaah and claimed she’s the best, clearly trying to grab attention.

Many in Bollywood believe Urvashi Rautela makes such statements purely for publicity, regardless of how disconnected from reality they might be.
