For years, Pooja Hegde has been repeatedly losing opportunities. After impressing everyone with the “Kuli” item song, she felt her career was finally back on track — but now another big opportunity has slipped out of her hands.
It is known that a film is coming in the combination of Dhanush and Rajkumar Periyasamy. This is Dhanush’s 55th film. Pooja Hegde was initially considered as the heroine for this project. However, the team is now thinking of replacing her with Sai Pallavi.
This project has changed hands. The complete rights have been taken over by Dhanush’s own production house from Malaimalar Production Company. As part of this shift, a few changes were made to the project.
Veteran actor Mammootty was brought on board for a key role, and he was paid as much as Rs 15 crore. Due to this, the makers decided to adjust the budget and chose Sai Pallavi in place of Pooja Hegde.
The combination of Dhanush and Sai Pallavi has strong market appeal. Dhanush firmly believes that this craze will benefit the project. It is also said that some changes have been made to the script.
