Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga posted an intense message around midnight, expressing anger — without naming anyone, he gave a strong counter. The reason behind his outburst was the leak of the story of his upcoming film, Spirit.
"I narrated the story with 100% trust. But you demeaned a junior actor and leaked my story. Is this what your feminism stands for? Even if the entire story is leaked, I’ve got nothing to lose," Sandeep lashed out, clearly furious.
A few days ago, Deepika Padukone exited the Spirit project. In her place, Sandeep cast Tripti Dimri as the female lead. Following this, there were allegations that Deepika’s PR team and some Bollywood websites leaked parts of the story and key scenes from the film. In this context, Sandeep’s comments have gained significant attention.
Interestingly, no one seems overly concerned or worried about the leak. In fact, support is pouring in for Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The prevailing opinion is that no matter what the scene is, no other director can present it the way Sandeep does.
So even if the entire Spirit script falls into another director’s hands, fans believe it won’t have the same impact as it would under Sandeep’s direction. That’s why Prabhas’ fans say there’s absolutely no need for him to stress about it.
Meanwhile, some sections of the media have been publishing negative commentary since Deepika’s exit. Reports claim that the Prabhas–Tripti Dimri combination will result in an A-certified (adult-rated) film. However, Prabhas fans have been strongly pushing back against these rumors.
