This is not a movie scene—it actually happened during a film shoot. More than 100 crew members were hospitalized after suffering food poisoning from production meals during Ranveer Singh’s movie shoot.
Ranveer is currently shooting for his film Dhuranthar in Leh, Jammu & Kashmir. The crew had wrapped up shooting by 8 p.m. and sat down for dinner. Soon after eating, several members started vomiting, while others complained of severe stomach pain and headaches. All of them were rushed to SNM Hospital in Leh.
Doctors confirmed it was a case of mass food poisoning, stating that harmful substances had contaminated the food. Food safety officials immediately collected samples and sent them for lab testing.
Around 600 people were on set, and all of them ate the same meal. While 100 required hospitalization, another 200 experienced mild symptoms but recovered quickly. An investigation is currently underway, and the shooting has been halted.
Since Ranveer Singh does not consume production food, he was unaffected and remains safe.
