The reporter asked if her sleeveless blouse was due to the summer heat, to which Aishwarya calmly replied, "I'm not sure how this is connected to the film or the event." Her composed response drew attention online.
Later, addressing the incident more directly, she expressed disappointment, saying it took her a moment to process the inappropriate question. She criticised the reporter’s attempt to justify his comment on social media, asking, "Do men like you think you can overpower me just because I chose to stay patient?"
In a detailed statement, Aishwarya shared how such remarks reflect lingering chauvinism in society. She described her emotional struggle after the event but reaffirmed her dignity and resilience. Having started as a newsreader in 2018, she emphasized her growth through hard work and personal experiences.
