South Indian actress and lady superstar Nayanthara has completed 22 years in the film industry. On this occasion, she shared a heartfelt message, saying that films have shaped her life and that she will remain forever indebted to the industry.
“22 years ago, when I first stood in front of the camera, I never imagined that films would become my entire world. But everything in the industry has changed me. It has shaped me into who I am today. I will be forever grateful,” Nayanthara wrote.
Born and raised in Kerala, she gained immense fame in Tamil cinema and simultaneously became popular in Tollywood. At one point, due to personal reasons, she even considered stepping away from films.
However, she credits cinema for not only supporting her but also comforting her during difficult times. Currently, Nayanthara continues to be one of the highest-paid actors in the South and has also turned producer, collaborating with her husband Vignesh Shivan to produce films. She continues to act in Tamil films and is currently starring alongside Chiranjeevi in Telugu cinema.
