India-Pakistan Ceasefire

India-Pakistan Ceasefire

War had already begun. It had almost reached a peak. The situation was so tense that some even speculated that a state of emergency might be declared. And then suddenly, Trump entered the scene. He declared that the war was over.

Yes… like thunder without lightning, Trump made a social media post. He announced that after extensive discussions, India and Pakistan had agreed to a ceasefire. He stated that both countries had fully agreed to a ceasefire, and that the agreement would take effect immediately.

Trump also said that both nations had made a wise decision by using their intelligence and common sense. Interestingly, just 24 hours earlier, the United States had expressed a completely different opinion on the India-Pakistan conflict.

In a special interview with Fox News, Vice President JD Vance stated that the India-Pakistan war had nothing to do with the United States. He openly declared that it would be better if both countries exercised restraint, and that America would not interfere in the conflict which had reached a peak, as it was not their concern.

Just a few hours after Vance’s statement, Trump made the ceasefire announcement. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs also confirmed the same. They announced that the ceasefire agreement had come into effect from 5 PM that evening. With that, the tense situation deescalated, and normalcy returned to the border.
