Journalist Palki Sharma: Will She Emerge As BJP Minister?

The Narendra Modi-led BJP is keen on identifying powerful women orators proficient in language and communication, placing them in top national positions. 

Smriti Irani, Nirmala Sitharaman, and presently Madhavi Latha, MP candidate for Hyderabad Lok Sabha Constituency, exemplify this trend. 

Many speculate Palki Sharma, a renowned Indian journalist with international recognition, could be next. 

Of course, we are yet to know the choices and interests of Palki Sharma as well. Her fans on social media predict that if she chooses this line, she may sit in Parliament as a Cabinet Minister sometime down the line. 

Setting speculation aside, Prime Minister Modi recently praised her Oxford speech about India.

Just days after her speech gained attention, Modi commended her portrayal of India's confidence and economic strength. 

Previously, Sharma presented India's progress over a decade, supporting "Modi's India is on the Right Path." Modi appreciated her insights, noting the significant transformations in India.

"You have given a wonderful glimpse of the massive transformations taking place across India,"  PM Modi said on X in response to her article.
