Cancellation Of Revanna's Diplomatic Passport?

Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh asked why the government hasn't canceled the diplomatic passport of suspended JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, accused of sexual abuse.

Revanna, 33, reportedly went to Germany after the Karnataka State Commission for Women asked for an investigation into sexual allegations against him. 

Ramesh questioned why Revanna was allowed to leave the country without consequences comparing it to other cases like Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi.

It is known that Revanna, the grandson of Janata Dal leader H D Deve Gowda faces multiple accusations of sexual assault with explicit videos circulating online. He ran for election in the Hassan constituency, allied with the BJP. 

Another rape case was filed against him recently, bringing the total to three. His father, H D Revanna, is also accused in one case.

The Ministry of External Affairs stated that Revanna traveled to Germany using a diplomatic passport without political clearance. 

Interpol issued a notice about him. Revanna's actions have sparked outrage, with demands for accountability and justice.
