Saif Ali Khan opened up about his life, career and the ever present paparazzi in a candid session titled "From Mainstream to Maverick."
Saying on his experiences with the media, Saif humorously remarked, "We once walked in from a party and the paps had entered the lobby. The next thing was for them to come to my bedroom!" While this comment drew laughter from the audience it highlighted the fine line between public life and personal privacy.
Saif acknowledged that while the paparazzi are generally polite they sometimes make his children uncomfortable by chasing their cars. He shared his unique take on the financial side of the paparazzi culture stating, "Some people are paying them; they have a rate card. It’s funny but also disturbing."
Beyond his witty anecdotes Saif spoke about his acting journey, his relationship with his children and his plans to restore his ancestral home.
